10-year NHBC New Homes Warranty

All Bowbridge homes come with a 10-year NHBC New Homes Warranty.

This puts the responsibility on the house builder in the first two years of owning your new home (from the legal date of completion) to fix any defects which aren’t due to general wear and tear and maintenance issues.

From the second year, NHBC provide insurance cover on any damage to your home caused by builders not building to the NHBC requirements.

They also provide an independent resolution service should the builder not resolve any defects satisfactorily.


Bowbridge Homes subscribe to the Consumer Code for Home Builders to ensure that you get the best service when buying one of their new homes.

Consumer Code for Homebuilders

Bowbridge Homes also subscribe to the Consumer Code for Homebuilders.

This code covers a range of customer service requirements which, by subscribing to it, Bowbridge Homes agree to abide by.

These include:

  • Clear and truthful advertising and marketing materials
  • Sufficient pre-purchase information to help you make an informed decision about your purchase
  • Contact details for the Home Builder and other relevant bodies
  • Home Warranty information
  • Contract information including termination rights

There is also a speedy, free dispute resolution scheme available to deal with complaints about breaches of the code.
